Brian James Lorentz, age 56 of Cannon Falls, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Brian was born on June 8, 1965, the son of Nicholas "Butch" and Joyce (Fox) Lorentz. During high school he was a wrestler and graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1983.

Brian owned and operated his HVAC company, and found time to pursue his passion, riding motorcycle. He also was in a pool league and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his parents, Butch and Joyce of Cannon Falls; brothers, Brad and Robynn Lorentz of Cannon Falls and Bruce Lorentz and Rob Rangel of Minneapolis; nieces and nephew, Emilee Lorentz of Virginia Beach, VA, Nicholas Lorentz and Grace Lorentz, both of Cannon Falls; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick and Martha Lorentz and Arnold and Rita Fox.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, March 18 at 11:00 am, with visitation from 10-11 am, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, Cannon Falls. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Active urn bearers will be Brad, Robynn and Bruce Lorentz. Honorary urn bearers will be Bill Robinson, Tim Johnson, Kevin Landsberger, Tony Nobach, and Steve Lorentz.
